case: I have several luxury patio furniture items patented, with a substantial sales history. A distributor wants to buy inventory and distribute to his rolodex and new customers at trade shows. What royalty rate should I ask for? I dont want to sell my company nor the patents.

ie: patents are design, not utility. 1 related utility patent can be (perhaps 85% probability) acquired (for a $1200 fee that I dont want to pay for). However, the design patents have been in force 5 yrs and absolutely no sign of infringement has taken place.
