Needing low cost website help!

Here is my circumstance, I don't have a whole lot of money, I am out of work due to health issues. I have been trying to get my life coaching business going online for quite some time now. I built a site pretty much myself bought a template, etc.. But it doesn't look good to me. I need someone who can hear what I need and want and can make that happen. I just need something that looks clean, simple and professional.

The site I currently have up is this www.straightforwardlifecoach.com

I need to be able to feel confident about my site before I can market it and put it on all my offline marketing efforts.

I am in a very rough situation. I am only 31 and was diagnosed with cancer less than two months ago. It has always been my dream to get my coaching business going and that be my income source. I am finally asking for help because I honestly know that I just suck at design and marketing.

I know a lot of companies have these huge expensive packages, I can't afford that and don't want it. I just need someone who can make my site ready to attract more traffic and look good within a couple of hours of work or so that it won't be so expensive. I worry this is impossible.

Is this even possible?

Does placing my freelance graphic design business in low ranked classified ads lower my pr rank of my website and vice versa for high ranked ones ?

If you are just starting a business one of the most important items on your list to get done and completed is to establish your identity with a logo and business card.

Youthful Investor Blog

Target audience is twenty somethings and college students
Trying update during the week a few times
Is it easy to navigate and figure out?
Is it an eye sore or easy on the eyes?
Is everything easily relevant?
Do you like the formating of the posts?

i myself am a freelance graphic designer and I'd like to start this conversation to get an idea of how many people who own businesses feel that a graphic designer is needed to design a logo, business card fllyer etc

or would they prefer to design it themselves and save money.

Starting a swimwear line

I am trying to finish writing out a business plan and making a budget to launch my swimwear line, Dija in the next couple of years. I sew all of my own dummy samples at home, create my own patterns in Illustrator, made my own website (dijaswim.com), logo, etc. Right now I am working on raising funds through fashion shows, applying for competitions/grants, and I am creating a Kickstarter project. (I don't plan on launching my Kickstarter until I have all the financial details a little more in line.) Does anyone have any advice on how to start out manufacturing with a small budget? I plan to have between 5-10K to work with. My plan right now is to sell to retailers in surrounding areas (I am in Austin) who will place small orders, and honestly I am not even sure what constitutes a small order when buying swimwer. Please let me know if you have a success story, a failure story, or any experience with a similar situation. Thanks!

why do i keep getting blocked for asking a marketing question?

3 times now i have asked simple question, how do i market my new website goodbuy.co.uk and it keeps getting blocked and deleted..i dont understand? what am i doing wrong?

i need to promote my new site, and not sure how..any ideas?
